UniCredit Pavilion is pleased to present an absolute preview of blueShores, a photographic exhibition by Federico Garibaldi, a talented Ligurian artist who will exhibit his works at the UniCredit Pavilion Catwalk, from 21 April to 15 May 2016.
“It is a real pleasure to host Federico Garibaldi, a versatile and creative photographer, with a thousand facets, for this first exhibition of the 2016 season - says Serena Massimi, Head of UniCredit Pavilion Development Management -. Federico's choice well represents UniCredit Pavilion's goal of promoting talents from the world of contemporary art, presenting original and international productions in a contamination between different expressive forms ".
68 photos taken using the most diverse devices, both portable and fixed, from Polaroids, to the most sophisticated equipment up to the immediate mobile phone. A project that lasted four years, a journey with strong emotional hues spent among the Apulian beaches seen and taken from the sea.
"This exhibition is intended to be an iconographic story of humanity on vacation, - explains Federico Garibaldi - a series of postcards that reveal the apparent illusion of summer at the sea, the sun, the holiday. A distorted idea that releases dissonances and disturbances also expressed in the title of the exhibition: blue like the sea, but also as sadness, bitterness and melancholy. "
